We love the images that a kitchen table invokes. If Relish is our “main” dining room, then we consider the expansion space as our smaller more intimate “kitchen table”. And we met that challenge with The Kitchen Table at Relish-Biscuits, Brews, and Board Games-or the Kitchen Table for short. The challenge was to come up with a completely new menu that complements Relish without actually competing with it. Once we realized that we would only need about 1/3 of the space to expand our current kitchen and build the new takeout counter, we seized the opportunity to flex our creative muscles and create a secondary dining area. So, when our landlord offered us the former Dos Taquitos space next door to our kitchen, we jumped on it. Business is great, thankfully, but because of that and our extensive menu we really do need a lot of prep and storage space-especially since we want to keep creating new dine in “Test Kitchen” menu items and expand our takeout capacity to include larger family meal and catering portions, too. The current kitchen at Relish has been too small for us for a few years now.
I am happy and excited to announce we opened The Kitchen Table at Relish-Biscuits, Brews, and Board Games next door to Relish on May 30, 2019.
